Important: Read this Before You Update

LightHouse 5 is designed exclusively for Axiom 2, Axiom 2 Pro, and Axiom 2 XL chartplotters.

LightHouse 5 is not compatible with first-generation Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro, or Axiom XL chartplotters. These products should continue to use the latest version of LightHouse 4.

Upgrading from LightHouse 4 to LightHouse 5

  • All Axiom 2 Series chartplotters can be upgraded from LightHouse 4 to LightHouse 5.
  • If your Axiom 2 chartplotter is running LightHouse 4.10.149 or earlier, you must first update to a LightHouse 4.11 release (for example, v4.11.133) before installing LightHouse 5.

Mixed Systems: First-Generation Axiom and Axiom 2 Displays

If your vessel has a mix of first-generation Axiom and Axiom 2 displays:

  • All displays can network together only when they are running the same version of LightHouse 4.
  • We recommend updating all displays to the latest version of LightHouse 4.11 for the best compatibility and performance.
  • Displays running LightHouse 4 cannot network with displays running LightHouse 5.
  • If incompatible displays are detected, an alarm and error message will appear. To restore normal operation, disconnect the incompatible display, power it off, or replace it with a compatible model.

Update Connected Accessories and Peripherals

After installing LightHouse 5, check for and complete any available software updates for connected Raymarine devices and accessories. Keeping all connected products up to date helps ensure full compatibility and optimal system performance.
