Upgrade All of your Evolution Autopilot Components
Please make sure you upgrade your p70 / p70R autopilot control head and Evolution ACU (actuator control unit) to the latest software when upgrading your Evolution heading sensor. Your Evolution autopilot system will require recalibration after the new software is installed.
Always upgrade the EV-1 Sensor first before updating Actuator Control Unit (ACU).
Upgrading the Evolution Autopilot with a Legacy a/c/e/eS/gS Series chartplotter/MFD display
Please ensure the display software is at level v13.37 or above before updating the Evolution autopilot.
Upgrading the Autopilot with a Legacy G-Series chartplotter/MFD display
Please ensure your G-Series system software level is v4.49 or above before updating the Evolution autopilot.

Note: To avoid potentially corrupting the data on your Navionics chart card, DO NOT copy software update files to your Navionics chart card and DO NOT back up waypoint/route/track data to your Navionics chart card. MicroSD cards are commonly available in most stores selling consumer electronics products. Waypoint, route, track data, and system configuration data can be stored on a microSD memory card which also contains software update files.
The a, c, e, eS, gS-Series software download or AXIOM Series software download, now contains the latest version of software for the following peripherals:

Once the Master MFD has been updated, usually any connected MFD or peripheral will be updated as well.
If you have performed the update recently on the MFD, you may not need to perform this update. Please check if you require the update.
Please note: You will only see Raymarine devices that are connected on SeaTalkNG and RayNet only. Other devices may not be listed
