Raymariner is not a leisure vessel; it is a fully equipped testing platform designed to validate the entire Raymarine ecosystem under authentic marine conditions. From radar and sonar systems to multifunction displays, every component is rigorously assessed to ensure seamless integration and dependable performance.
Strategically based in Warsash, in the South of England, just minutes from the Raymarine headquarters, Raymariner provides engineers with convenient access for rapid setup and testing. This proximity enables agile development cycles and accelerates product validation.
Our mission is to deliver absolute confidence to mariners. That means testing in the same conditions they face, whether that is in calm seas or adverse weather. By replicating these scenarios, we can be confident that our products not only function but excel when reliability matters most.
Raymariner operates on the water three to four days per week. Each session begins with equipment preparation and installation, followed by a briefing with the test skipper to define objectives and locations.
The vessel’s design supports efficiency and flexibility. All systems are fully interchangeable, and features such as moon pools allow sonar transducers to be swapped without lifting the boat. This capability enables engineers to replace and recommence testing within 20 minutes, maximising productivity and minimising downtime.
