Smarter Boating Starts Here
Raymarine’s latest update to the LightHouse 4 operating system—version v4.10.—introduces a suite of powerful new features designed to enhance your time on the water. Whether you’re cruising, fishing, or navigating complex waterways, these improvements help you operate with greater confidence, clarity, and control.
Here’s a look at what’s new and why it matters...
If you run Suzuki outboards, the new Suzuki app is a game-changer. It provides real-time engine data including RPM, gear position, oil pressure, coolant temperature, trim, voltage, fuel level, and rudder position.
Suzuki owners can monitor up to four engines and receive alerts for conditions like low oil pressure or water in fuel. This integration gives you a clear picture of your engine health and performance, helping you make informed decisions on the water.

Planning your route is now easier and more intuitive. LightHouse 4.10 improves automatic route generation using Navionics and C-MAP charts. You can review caution zones, move or insert waypoints, and add route legs to refine your path. These tools give you more control over your route and help you avoid hazards, especially in unfamiliar waters.
Switching between North-Up, Heading-Up, or Course-Up views is now as simple as tapping the on screen north indicator in the Chart or Radar app. This quick-access feature makes it easier to adapt your view to changing conditions without navigating through menus.
Fishermen in the southern US will appreciate new user-selectable overlays that show BOEM Block Overlays and underwater pipelines in the Gulf of America. These layers have been added with the latest update to the LightHouse Charts GEN-2 North America chart and can be toggled on/off through Axiom’s Layers menu.
For users with FLIR Marine cameras using both visible and thermal feeds, the Video app has improved controls that let you choose which feed to display. The feature now mirrors the functionality of FLIR Joystick Control Units. This is especially useful for docking at night, monitoring surroundings, or navigating in low-visibility conditions so you can quickly and easily change camera feeds as conditions require.
You can now add up to 12 data overlays per app page, up from the previous limit of 4. You can resize, reposition, and customize overlays to display the data you care about most. This gives you more flexibility to tailor your display to your boating style and needs.
For fishing activities, the automatic track recording interval has been reduced from 5 seconds to 1 second, allowing for more precise tracking. You can also color-code tracks by day or trip, making it easier to analyze your movements and patterns over time. Of course, you still have full control over the track interval and can set it to a longer duration or distance, if desired.
The latest LightHouse GEN 2 charts contain shoreline information with 2D and 3D building shapes in select areas. When enabled in 2D mode you’ll see the basic footprint of buildings, while the 3D mode adds a shadow effect that changes perspective when panning the chart. You also have the option to turn off buildings entirely, if desired.
Previously only available on Axiom Pro systems and up, 3D buildings are now also available on Axiom and Axiom+ displays running LightHouse 4.10 or later.
Tech Tip: Have you updated your charts lately? Our LightHouse Charts GEN2 receive regular updates and enhancements. If you have not updated recently, you might not have 2D or 3D buildings available on your chart. Every LightHouse Chart comes with 1-year of updates and access to Premium layers including satellite photos. You can update your chart today at chartmanager.raymarine.com.
