On 31 August 2025, Melwin Fink (23) and Lennart Burke (27) set off on the GLOBE40, a round-the-world race - as the youngest team in history and showing that top performance is not a question of age. Six legs, two sailors, one boat - and a dream that becomes reality.

With this youthful ambition, technical precision and genuine passion, they are very successfully shaking up the offshore scene in the current race and previous regattas. Right from the start, the two young German sailors have managed to establish themselves in the top field of the GLOBE40 and are currently in second place in the overall ranking. What drives them is more than just the desire to win - it is the fascination for speed, teamwork and adventure on the high seas. Lennart Burke and Melwin Fink embody a new generation that shows us that anything is possible, that we can make dreams come true and achieve our goals with passion and ambition!
